On Thursday, October 2nd, Vanguard Academy hosted the first Superintendent’s Parent Roundtable of the year at the San Juan Memorial Library. Parents joined Superintendent Dr. Marisol Rocha for an engaging discussion on district initiatives, school updates, and ways families can help shape the future of our schools.

💬 The roundtable created a space to:

✅ Share ideas & feedback
✅ Connect with other parents
✅ Participate in a Q&A session

📢 Important Drop-Off & Pick-Up Update – Starting Monday 📢 Parents, beginning Monday, we will be implementing updated traffic flow for drop-off and pick-up. Please see the attached maps and explanation carefully. A new Moore Road entrance and exit (Gate D) has been added for 1st–10th grade. PK–K students will continue to use the Jackson Road entrance/exit only. For safety and smoother traffic, all vehicles exiting Jackson must turn right. Vanguard Academy is open 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday and closed on Fridays. The district will be closed the week of June 30th through July 7th and will return on July 14th. Our modified work scheduled will run through Friday, July 25th. We resume regular work hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, on Monday, July 28th.

Congratulations to our Rembrandt Secondary Seniors who worked diligently to complete their requirements and obtained their nationally recognized South Texas College Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certification, and to a few more that went the extra mile and also obtained their Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification.
