Good evening, Van Gogh Elementary PK3–Kindergarten parents and siblings, To support the construction and building progress of Van Gogh Secondary, Gate D and Gate E will be closed during the last three days of school: May 26th, 27th, and 28th. Because of this, we will be implementing an alternative morning drop-off and afternoon pickup plan for PK3–Kindergarten students and their siblings. Gate C will remain open, and staff members will be available in front of the main building enclosure to assist our PK3–Kindergarten students during arrival and dismissal. In order to help alleviate traffic and ensure student safety, dismissal will begin at 2:00 PM on these days. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we work together to maintain a safe and smooth process for all students and families. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Good afternoon, Van Gogh families! ☀️ To celebrate the final days of school, we will be having our Summer Fun Dress Up Days beginning May 18th through May 28th! Students are invited to participate in our themed days and fun classroom activities as we finish the year strong together. 👖 Jeans will be allowed every day during these celebrations. Please review the flyer for daily themes and activities, including award ceremony attire, karaoke day, movie day in the classroom, pajama day, dance day, and our final class celebrations. 🎉 Reminder: Classroom parties will take place on Thursday, May 28th. Additional information will be shared by your child’s teacher. Happy Mother’s Day to all of our amazing moms! 💐 First and foremost, thank you for everything you do for your children each and every day. Your love, support, sacrifices, encouragement, and partnership mean more than words can express. As the principal of Van Gogh Elementary, I want you to know how deeply appreciated you are. We could not do this work without you, and it is truly an honor to serve your children alongside you. We are so excited to celebrate all of you during tomorrow’s Mother’s Day activities! Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being such an important part of our school family. ❤️ As part of tomorrow’s event, there will also be an optional photo booth available for moms who are interested. 🚨 Important Update for Friday – Día del Niño 🚨 Dear Van Gogh Families, We are excited to celebrate Día del Niño this Friday, and we need your support to help make this event a success for our students! 🎉 Due to event setup, vendor arrivals, and activity areas, we will be making a temporary change to afternoon dismissal procedures: ➡️ Gate D will NOT be used for entry during dismissal ➡️ All families (1st–10th grade) must enter through the Guard Shack Gate This adjustment will allow us to safely prepare and manage all event spaces for our students to enjoy. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we work together to create a fun and organized experience for everyone. 🌸 Van Gogh Elementary Mother’s Day Picnic 🌸 We are excited to celebrate our amazing moms with a special Mother’s Day Picnic! 💕 📍 Location: School Gym To make sure all moms can enjoy this special time with all of their children, the event will be organized by grade level sessions: 🩷 PK3 & PK4: 8:15–9:15 AM 🧡 Kinder & 1st Grade: 9:30–10:30 AM 💚 2nd & 3rd Grade: 12:15–1:15 PM 💜 4th & 5th Grade: 1:30–2:30 PM ✨ Important Reminder: Moms will attend based on their youngest child’s grade level so siblings can join together. Older siblings will be called from class to join you. ⏰ Please help us by ending your visit on time so we can smoothly transition between groups.
